General Comment - We had a wonderful meal here. The man behind the bar was extremely welcoming and nice although he seemed to be trying to do everything by himself. The food was fab with special touches like home cut chips. Highly recommend a visit. We will certainly be going back!

General Comment - This pub has won 2 awards 2 years running (2006 & 2007) for its food and although there were some nice touches to the food (i.e. hard-boiled eggs and homemade colesaw on the salad) we did not have that great an experience here. It may have been one off so certainly don't rule it out.

General Comment - We have visited here several times and have always had good meal. The bar service was a little disappointing this time, in that we felt hurried to take our seat although we arrived early. The waitress was great and food very nice, although one of our particular favourite starters - crayfish salad - had a little too much dressing. Recommend a visit!
